As Benzoyl Peroxide Granules contains 75% w/w (approx.) of Benzoyl Peroxide Powder hence Material Safety precaution are as follows :.

STORAGE :-
Benzoyl Peroxide should be stored in a cool and well ventilated room bellow 25 ° C away from all Sources of Heat, Sunlight & Fire.

PROTECTIVE DEVICE :-
Goggles giving complete protection to the eyes. Plastic gloves, apron and boots. Eyewash bottle with clean water.  

FLAMMABILITY :-
Benzoyl Peroxide is flammable, burns rapidly & explosively by an open flame or an electric arc.

HAZARD :-
Flammable and Explosive may Explode spontaneously when moisture content is reduced up to 10% while drying.

CAUTION :-
It may decompose violently if subjected to grinding.  

FIRE :-
Keep containers cool by spraying with water and Extinguish with water only. plenty of water should be used to control the fire.  

FIRST AID :-
if substance has got into eyes immediately wash out with plenty of water for atleast 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing immediately and wash affected skin with plenty of water. seek medical treatment when anyone has symptoms apparently due swallowing or contact with eyes.
